A Monthly Program at Hope Lutheran Church

MEMORY CAFÉ

Hope has been officially certified as a Dementia Friendly Church. Let’s take this a step further… Did You Know?

· Memory Cafes are an important component of the vision of creating dementia-friendly communities throughout Wisconsin where people living with dementia can continue to find meaning and purpose in their daily lives despite experiencing memory loss and other cognitive challenges.

· Memory Cafes offer people with dementia and their care partners the opportunity to enjoy regular enjoyable social interaction with others in similar circumstances in a safe, welcoming environment. They operate on a drop-in basis with no preregistration required, or cost to the attendees.

· Regardless of where they are held, Memory Cafes share the commitment of offering hospitality, interesting and enjoyable programs, information about dementia, and of course coffee, tea and treats.

The Cottage Grove area Memory Cafés will be held
here at Hope Lutheran Church on the
4th Wednesday of every month from 9:30 to 11 am.

The Cottage Grove Memory Café is a casual and relaxing place where folks with mild memory loss and their care partners can come and enjoy themselves. There will be no cost to participate and you do not need to make a reservation.
